  "Extremely unpleasant service experienced with ispect and which impacted the overall property buying process eventually landed up as a lost deal for us. ## Red flags ## 1. Inspector/ispect did not communicate that inspection was partially done. Only came to know about it when report was sent 24 hrs later. 2. Was asked to pay additional charges to get remaining inspection done. This was in addition to the AUD 460 + GST that was paid for the B&P inspection. 3. Reached out to ispect to schedule the remaining part of the inspection. Requested them if it can be carried out same day it was time sensitive. Agent said will call back in 10 mins, never called back. Called them back after 2 hrs but they said the inspection can only be done next day now. Because of the lack of communication from the inspector/ispect team re the partial B&P work done to begin with along with the inability of ispect team to understand the urgency required we lost two days and that led to loosing the property deal. Spoke to their Customer Service/Account manager and she asked to send an email with the details. Did that...its been a week and have not even received an acknowledgment yet. It was a total waste of money & time for the services offered by ispect and personally I would definitely not refer their services to any of my friends and family."

  "Rude and unprofessional. I had Tony from iSpect doing a building & pest inspection for me a few weeks ago. When we received the report it showed that the roof and garage had not been checked due to access. Later my real estate agent tells me the roller door to the garage is never locked, it just simply needed to be lifted up and he was standing just out the front of the house if Tony had any troubles. When I called Tony about the problem I was bombarded with him throwing policy numbers at me and trying to lay blame on the real estate agent. Wouldn?t even listen to what I had to say, kept talking over the top of me so much I had to tell him. I find it incredibly unprofessional to not properly check doors and if you?re having issues why don?t you ask the agent 30 meters away from you or at the bare minimum tell me, the one who?s paying you. Then said about the roof that there was no access due to previous rain. PREVIOUS! And it certainly wasn?t much. Chuck a ladder up like every other inspector and check what you can without getting on the roof. As far as I?m concerned this was an incomplete job and above anything I?m just so surprised by Tony?s aggressive approach to customer service. Save your pennies, there are much better companies out there."

  "Very disappointed with iSPECT inspection. While the team was quick to respond and arrange inspection, the inspection did not cover the major part of the house - roof including the roof cavity. The excuse by the inspector was that the roof tiles were slippery and the access door to the roof cavity was smaller than acceptable size. When I raised that while not expecting anyone to walk on slippery roof or climb into a tiny confined space, I expected that the inspect attempts a reasonable workaround to at least do a visual assessment, eg put head in the cavity and look with a torch, assess roof tiles from the side of the roof standing on a ladder, I got same excuses and dismissed. I paid full amount but got 2/3 of the work done. Very unprofessional, both inspection and response to feedback."

David Roth's lack of skill and professionalism has had serious repercussions on my project. I strongly advise against using APBI, especially if David Roth is involved. For anyone in need of building inspections, I urge you to seek a service that is reputable, qualified, and truly professional. Do not risk your property with this company and this inspector."
